My breeds: Alaskan Malamute et Eurasier

For now, I breed nordic dogs: Alaskan Malamutes and Eurasiers.

But as soon as I am installed "at home" with all the necessary facilities,
I would like to breed small companion dogs too, probably Lhassas-Apso.

the Nomenclature FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale) is the World Canine Organisation, an international scientific classification based on the type and use of the dog.
All races are divided into ten groups, themselves divided into sections with the breeds of dogs.

Group 1 : Sheepdogs and Cattle Dogs
Group 2 : Pinscher and Schnauzer - Molossoid Breeds - Swiss Mountain and Cattle Dogs
Group 3 : Terriers
Group 4 : Dachshunds
Group 5 : Spitz and Primitive types
Group 6 : Scenthounds and Related Breeds
Group 7 : Pointing Dogs
Group 8 : Retrievers - Flushing Dogs - Water Dogs
Group 9 : Companion and Toy Dogs
Group 10 :Sighthounds

groupe 5 nordiques

Group 5 includes all the so-called primitive dogs and Spitz type:

Section 1: Nordic Sledge Dogs (Husky, Malamute, Samoyède…).
Section 2: Nordic Hunting Dogs
Section 3: Nordic Watchdogs and Herders
Section 4: European Spitz
Section 5: Asian Spitz and related breeds (Chow-Chow, Eurasier…)
Section 6: Primitive type
Section 7: Primitive type - Hunting Dogs
Section 8: Primitive type Hunting Dogs with a ridge on the back
This group is often mistakenly reduced to dog sledding or sled dogs,
but it also includes breeds that have nothing Nordic like the Pharaoh Hound.
This is a very heterogeneous group, however he meets dogs in a certain consistency: their primitive side.
Close to their ancestor the wolf, they retain the characteristics of the latter as the pack instinct.
For almost all, it is a very old breed.
